Torque Metals Ltd reaches large, high-grade gold in Paris

A highlight of the initial assay results was a 9 meter intersection at 11.52 g / t gold at 63 meters.

() intersected a large expanse of high grade gold from the first phase of drilling of the Paris gold project in the Boulder-Lefroy fault zone in Western Australia.

The company, to date, has completed 102 reverse circulation (RC) holes over 7,472 meters and has 2,728 samples submitted to the lab for analysis of gold and a range of elements.

The first assay results were received from Observation Prospect, just 2.5 kilometers northwest of the Paris mine and all results are shallow intersections above the vertical depth of 60 meters.

Significant results include:

9 meters at 11.52 g / t gold at 63 meters;

6 meters at 5.58 g / t from 42 meters;

9 meters at 3.98 g / t from 21 meters;

9 meters at 2.96 g / t from 21 meters; and

6 meters at 1.99 g / t from 39 meters.

“Exceptional first pass results”

Torque Executive Chairman Ian Finch said: “These are exceptional first pass results from an observational perspective.

“The mineralization is large, shallow, high grade and of indefinite duration, making it an excellent prospect which fits with our strategy of focusing on rapidly increasing the resource base of the Paris project. “

New mineralized zone identified

Of the 2,728 samples submitted, the company received assay results for 795 and these are mainly results from the RC drilling undertaken at the Observation prospect, which is located 900 meters north of the HHH pit, under a shallow cover, and has a geology similar to the current HHH and Paris.

A highlight of the initial Observation assay results was a 9-meter intersection at 11.52 g / t gold at 63 meters.

It is important to note that a new mineralized zone has been identified from the initial Observation assay results covering a current strike length of approximately 350 meters which remains open to the west and at depth.

In addition, the observation results show an extension of the Paris gold corridor of 900 meters further north to encompass the mineralization of the Paris pit, the HHH pit and now the observation.

Other analyzes of the drilling of the first phase of Paris are expected in the coming weeks

Finch said: “It is important to note that the results show that there is a ‘gold corridor’ extending for at least 2.5 kilometers and encompassing mineralization from the Paris pit, the HHH pit and now of observation.

Next steps

The company plans to undertake additional drilling at Observation Prospect to further explore the potential scale of the mineralized zone.

He also plans to start generating targets north of Observation to extend the Paris gold corridor northward.

Finch said, “Our focus now will be to undertake further drilling at Observation to understand the potential scale of the Observation mineralized zone and further extend the Paris gold corridor north of Observation.

“In addition, further assay results are expected, which we will announce in the coming weeks as they become available.”
